Problem Description

The purpose of the public tender “Inclusion of the use of information and communication technology in the higher education pedagogical process” is to encourage the modernization of higher education didactics through the use of ICT and the transition to digital education. It aims to raise the quality of higher education institutions, therefore, contributing to the economy and society at large. It is important that, in the course of their education, young people can acquire knowledge, competencies and skills which will ensure their successful integration into society and the labour market.

Solution

The goals of the project are realized with the help of the UM Teaching Support Center (Department of Education and Studies), which implements the activities of the Didakt.UM project. By providing support to pedagogical staff of the University of Maribor, the support service contributes to better possibilities and opportunities for updating the knowledge, skills and competencies of pedagogical staff in the field of didactic use of information and communication technology in the higher education pedagogical process.
