34th Bled eConference on Electronic Commerce: »Digital support from crisis to progressive change«

The Bled e-conference, which is organized every year by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Maribor, is an international event with the longest tradition in the field of e-commerce research at the University of Maribor and in Europe. It is one of the leading research and professional events within this field in the world.

This year’s 34th conference, with the working title ‘Digital support from crisis to progressive change‘ will once again bring together speakers and delegates from business, government, information technology providers and universities from around the world.

The central theme of the conference is related to the study of the opportunities and impact of digital technologies on organizations, individuals and society. The emphasis is mainly on using the opportunities of digitalisation to overcome the crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the overall focus of the conference on digitization and digital transformation, the following topics are highlighted: digital health and wellness, digital business models, artificial intelligence and data science, digital ethics, smart and sustainable cities and digital education.

Contributions presenting research results or ongoing research are welcome. Students are also invited to participate within either the student bazaar of innovative digital solutions or the doctoral bazaar.
