Meeting of support institutions from East cohesion region of Slovenija with DIH UM

As part of the initiative for digital transformation of the Republic of Slovenia within the priority of the Single Digital Market of the European Union, a meeting will be held to present the Digital Innovation Hub UM and the possibility of cooperation in the field of digitalization in our region.

In 2020, according to the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI), Slovenia is again below the EU average. It is clear that there is still much room for improvement, especially in KRVS. A positive step in this direction are the newly established DIHs in KRVS, which clearly reflects the needs and expectations of our environment. Each of the support institutions we have addressed plays an important role in the diverse economic mosaic of our region, and we are convinced that with joint efforts we can contribute even more successfully to the digital transformation of KRVS.

The University of Maribor (UM), as the largest scientific research and educational institution in KRVS, is aware of its responsibility to provide a supportive environment to all stakeholders in the region. For this purpose, UM established the Digital Innovation Hub of the University of Maribor (DIH UM).

The aim of the meeting is to plan a way to jointly contribute to the digital transformation of KRVS and to this end to use the available capacities and national and European funds as efficiently as possible.

In order to ensure the greatest possible presence, the meeting will take place in two terms. The topics and content of both meetings will be the same, so please attend only one of the following dates that suits you best:
