In this workshop you will familiarize yourself with programming Android applications with a special emphasis on the state–of–the–art best practices in programming resource–efficient apps. The workshop will commence with a brief lecture that will introduce the participants to Android. This will be followed by a two–hour hands–on lab, where we will create our first Android smartphone app in Kotlin programming language.
