Postanite del digitalne revolucije
Are you interested in how digital technologies improve production, reduce errors, and increase efficiency? In this workshop, you will learn the basics of digitisation, the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced analytics, as well as how artificial intelligence helps predict errors and optimise tasks.
Through practical examples, we will show you how to successfully implement digital solutions into your production processes and take the first steps towards a smart factory.
The workshop will cover:
In the practical part of the workshop, participants will try out the presented methodology and tools through short tasks.
Take the first step towards smart manufacturing – digitise smartly!
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Robert Ojsteršek, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Maribor, where he works in the Laboratory for Production and Operations Management and the Laboratory for Discrete Systems Simulation. He received his doctorate in 2020, and has published over 170 works, including 20 scientific articles and 12 chapters in scientific journals. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences and has been a guest lecturer and researcher at four foreign universities. His extensive practical experience includes leading more than 15 research and development projects for the industry. He also serves on the editorial boards of two scientific journals. His research interests include production planning and scheduling, evolutionary computation, multi-criteria optimization, simulation modeling, collaborative workplaces, and visual computation.
